RoomCraft
See the room before you move anything.
A room decorator that shows you the room as it will actually look. Draw the room you are standing in, add the doors and windows that are really there, then furnish it, paint it and light it — in a measured 2D plan or in 3D, at any hour of any day of the year.
Because it knows your room’s orientation and where you are in the world, the sun in the preview moves across your windows the way the real one will.
An account keeps your rooms and their version history, so they follow you to any machine.
Any shape of room
Four corners or fourteen, curved walls, or a round room. Drag corners to reshape it, type an exact wall length, and anything that would make the room unbuildable is refused before you can draw it.
The doors and windows you actually have
Place them on a wall and drag them along it — or around a corner onto the next one. Width, height, sill and swing are all yours. One that will not fit says so instead of overlapping.
Furniture at real sizes
Thirty-eight pieces, each with real retail dimensions, so a two-seat sofa takes the space a two-seat sofa takes. Resize any of them per item. Things that overlap are flagged, never blocked — real rooms have tight fits.
Paint and floors
A curated palette, one wall or all of them, with sheen from matte to gloss driving how the light comes off it. Four floor materials, four tones each.
Light you can reason about
Lamps are rated in watts and colour temperature, so a 7 W table lamp reads as a 7 W table lamp. Move the time of day and season sliders and the sun tracks across your actual windows for your actual latitude.
Versions, and a link to share
Save the room under a name before a big change and restore it later. Send a read-only link to anyone — no account needed at their end, and you can revoke it.
What it is not
Not a CAD package and not a photorealistic renderer. It is a decorator: enough geometry to be truthful about what fits, and enough light to be truthful about how it will look. It runs on a laptop or a desktop — there is no mobile version.
